Welcome to Music courses
“Dear Susie, Phil and Janie Monday, 26 September 2016
I really don’t have the words to fully express just how much doing the stage 1 and stage 2 course in Early childhood has meant to me. Music has played such an important role in my life over the years which I cannot explain to you fully in just a few words. Needless to say, music (especially singing) to me is like breathing… I just couldn’t survive without it.
Not only have I learned so many new tools for teaching music to young children, but I have made some amazing friends who I know will be there for me throughout this wonderful new journey I am undertaking. Many find their career path In their 20’s or 30’s.. for me music (teaching) has always been a part time thing during and between raising a family of my own. Now at the ripe young age of 50 I am finally taking this opportunity to pursue my music on a full time basis. The program I have been introduced to over the past four days has had so many new and interactive songs teaching all the fundamental elements of rhythm, time, and dynamics, but also encompassing literacy, numeracy, movement, and various fine motor skill activities, just to name a few. I am quite literally overwhelmed. I can’t wait to get home and start working with this program, and introducing it to my already existing classes as well as any new ones I may get in the future.
I would also like to take this opportunity to give my heartfelt thanks to you for awarding me your scholarship. Due to my location in rural Central West NSW, this scholarship enabled me to be able to take part in this program, leaving much needed funds so that I could purchase some wonderful resources which will in turn enable me to present this wonderful program more fully.
Susie, your bubbly personality and energy had me in awe. For a lady with such qualifications, you are very down to earth and approachable. Your teaching style showed me that for my students to have fun they need to see me having fun.
Phil, your sense of fun and humour kept us on our toes. I absolutely loved you as a pirate. J
Janie, you are the glue that holds it all together. Nothing is ever a problem for you. It was an absolute pleasure to put a face to the name.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone who would like to teach music. I have been teaching as a private music teacher for almost 30 years, and was amazed at the different techniques I experienced, and I can’t wait to start putting them into practice.
Yours in Music”

Susie and Phil’s 10 hour music course was inspirational, many techniques were taught and learnt, with examples of ideas and how to implement them into your own program. It was delivered in a relaxed and fun environment. As a passionate Early Childhood Educator of music, performing arts, movement, (creativity) I highly recommend this Professional Development course.-

What an inspiring course. I can’t wait to do more.

If you want to learn about how to structure a music lesson, deliver one in a manner that totally engages the children, then Susie and Phil are the people for you.
The session reaffirmed to me how important music is to children’s development and how much I can do even though I have no formal musical training……so much fun!
Susie and Phil offer such great quality in their workshops…their passion and love for teaching music comes alive through their amazing creativity! It’s not just the abundance of ideas, knowledge and research that they generously share, but their advocacy for the importance of music education and the philosophy behind their passion for this. The professional quality of their presentation skills, their infectious enjoyment and love of music making, and their fabulous range of original music resources are some of the reasons they continue to be so inspiring!!! Can’t wait for the next workshop!
Susie’s passion for delivering effective, quality music programs for young children is infectious. Her grounded personality and ability to relate to people of all ages makes her courses a pleasure to be a part of. Sharon Herzog
