About This Resource

Oh In the Woods (also known as ‘Oh in the woods, there was a tree’ OR ‘The green grass grew all around’) has beautiful illustrations and has been newly developed and arranged by Susie and Phil. Through this well known and traditional story song, children can sing, add actions, movements and instruments. As each part progresses, the story becomes accumulative helping children develop their memory skills. Children are introduced to rhyming words, reading, writing and spelling whilst also being encouraged to draw their depiction of the story.
